Introduction

Hey readers 👋

I thought I'd introduce myself and the purpose of this blog. I'll be going by 'B' for privacy/safety purposes (for now). I'm an Aussie mum currently studying Psychological Science.

I'm all for Woman Empowerment and lifting others up, but I am also not one to throw men under the bus and treat them as if they're all the same.

Coming from someone who's been through some 💩, words don't often hold much value or weight with me, trust in the human race and intentions get lost on you after a while... I'm all about actions and motives!

We are much quicker to trust when we feel heard and validated!

So I'd like to create 'that' space for others who have also been through hell and are still here, walking through life, battle scars and all... or you're welcome to hear about and hopefully learn from my own sh*t show 😅

Why should we feel shame from our experiences? Who decides what's shameful and should be kept quiet?! In a world obsessed with perfection, imperfection has become obsolete...Done with that 🖕

It's time to feel heard, it's time to collaborate with like minded / experience buddies (I passionately dislike the word survivor/victim) and to really be heard for how far you have come!

Over the next few months I'll share some of my war stories (I have quite a few!) From my recent experience with Domestic Violence, Suicide in the family, Parental and Spousal Abandonment, Grooming, Alcoholics, Addictions, Serial Cheaters and the good old Narcissists.

Yep just brushing the surface 💁🏼‍♀️

I love facts and stats... So I'd also like to share info on all of the above to help EMPOWER others with knowledge.

music, emoji's and memes to help me get through the day! So don't be suprised if you see a bit of that throughout 🤷🏼‍♀️😂
